You will receive one box of 20 rounds of .30-06 ammunition. Each round is 180gr, brass cased, soft pointed and boxer primed. At 180gr, these are mid weight rounds for a .30-06, perfect for a hunting round as they will not deliver too much recoil of the heavier rounds while simultaneously not being underpowered for hunting purposes of the lighter rounds. These rounds will deliver at a muzzle energy of approximately 2,913 feet per pound and a muzzle velocity of 2,700 feet per second.
These rounds are also brass cased, favored by a majority of American shooters and hunters for increased reliability over steel cased rounds. Boxer primers are also the standard primers in America due to the empty cartridges being easier to reload. This is because the location of the anvil is separate from the primer. Reloading empty cartridges is, for some, a much more economical alternative to simply buying more boxes of ammo.
But what really makes these rounds excellent hunting rounds, are the fact that they are soft points. Soft points are an expanding bullet that have greater penetration then hollow points, making them an excellent hunting round.
