This round has the 30-30’s lighter common bullet. At 150 grains it rips out of a muzzle at 2,379 fps, leading to a flat trajectory coupled with a knockout 1,152 ft lbs of energy at 150 yards. As an FSP, this bullet makes efficient use of so much energy by expanding and tumbling around inside of soft tissue. The FSP’s concentric jacket promotes satisfying accuracy, and additionally serves to keep the bullet intact as it penetrates deeply within its mark.
Prvi Partizan knows that American hunters expect brass cases and Boxer primers, and they’ve given this round sterling examples of both. The Serbian manufacturer also uses clean burning propellant to preserve a lever gun’s accuracy, and gave this round’s bullet a flat nose profile for safe loading in a tubular magazine.
