These particular rounds are 165 grain and encased in brass and loaded with a boxer primer. These rounds are loaded with boxer primers, the standard primer in America. This is because that the location of the anvil is separate from the primer, making the empty cartridges easier to reload and a more economical alternative to simply buying more boxes of ammo. Brass cased rounds are also heavily favored by a majority of shooters for being more reliable and resistant to negative effects, such as corrosion, than steel cased rounds.
