The 180 grain Power-Point is a nice, heavy bullet, with plenty of the momentum it needs to resist wind deflection until it sinks deeply into its goal. The bullet’s rugged alloyed lead core it equips even better for deep penetration. The Power-Point’s jacket is thick around its base and gradually gets thinner the closer it gets to the exposed lead core. Alongside the jacket’s strategic notching, that ensures the bullet fans out nice and wide even if it strikes its target with relatively little kinetic energy.
Winchester loads their versatile Power-Point with a top-shelf reloadable brass case, trusty noncorrosive primer, and charge of propellant that won’t leave an unreasonable amount of residue behind in your barrel. If you ordered a box, you’d only wish you had ordered the whole case of ammo instead!
