This cartridge doesn’t do anything especially inventive – just the tried-and-universally-trusted performance of the 150 grain soft point. It’s not the most accurate bullet a 30-06 round could be armed with, but it is certainly sleek enough to exhibit a satisfyingly flat trajectory. We roughly estimate the bullet’s G1 BC to be 0.310 (assuming you’re firing through the same 24” barrel Aguila used to record the round’s advertised muzzle velocity), which means its trajectory to 200 yards should peak at around 1.9” above the bore line (assuming you’re centered up 1.5”). The SP’s lead tip and copper-alloy jacket are all it needs to mushroom outward while sinking deeply into the quarry. An assured clean kill so long as your aim is on point!
This ammo is loaded in Mexico with noncorrosive Boxer primers and pristine reloadable brass cases. Order a box and you’ll be having your own real 30-06 Springfield kind of day soon!
*That’s not counting the M1 Garand. Don’t fire this ammo in an M1 Garand.
